Our C.S.A. program is a way to extend our quality produce and service to our neighbors. By signing up for a subscription to our C.S.A., you will be promised a box of fresh, local, organic produce, sized to suit your needs, directly to your neighborhood or place of work.
Our C.S.A. schedule for 2013:
23 weeks - starting the week of June 17th and ending the week of November 18th.
Levels of Subscription
Level 1 : Provides a box of produce sized to feed a family with 1-2 small children or could be split between two single neighbors or co-workers - $21.50/wk.
Level 2: Provides a larger box of produce to feed a family that has a higher demand for healthy, fresh vegetables, or again, could be split between two neighbors or co-workers - $27.50/wk.
Level 3: Provides our largest box of produce to feed a larger or vegetarian family. Again, ask a friend or neighbor to split this large box to better fit your needs - $31.50/wk.
Half-Shares: All levels of subscription can be taken as a half-share, which will be delivered every other week. There will be a $25/year surcharge for such a delivery schedule. This fee can be waived if you subscribe and make a deposit by May 1st.
Reduced Sugar/Starch Shares: All levels of subscription can be taken as a reduced sugar/starch share, which will include NO CORN, NO POTATOES, but rather MORE of other less starchy vegetables.
C.S.A. Pick-Up and Deliveries
Yes, you can pick-up your C.S.A. box at Brenckle's Farm located on Glen Eden Road in New Sewickley Twp. This gives the added benefit of some extra al a carte shopping. On-the-farm pick-up is available on Wednesday's Noon-6:00pm. To our neighbors in Cranberry Twp., we are closer than you think, just 3.5 miles from Rt. 19 - our fields border Cranberry Twp.
We deliver to the greater Pittsburgh area, including: Bloomfield, East End, East Liberty, Oakland, Regent Square, Shadyside, South Side, Squirrel Hill, Strip District, Swissvale, Wexford, and Wilkinsburg.
Many of the farmers' markets we attend are also drop-off points for our C.S.A. baskets. We attend the following farmers' markets: Ambridge, Corapolis, Phipps Conservatory, and Sewickley.
We also deliver to local wellness centers, such as Cranberry Family Chiropractic, Jordan Family Chiropractic, and Embody Natural Health.
